The Hexham Local History Society publication “A Pack of Idle Sparks” contains the correspondence between the clerics at Hexham Abbey Church and the York Diocese in the first half of the 18th century. Letter 83 is a long letter from the Rev. George Ritschel about the proceeding of the 1715 court, and towards the end he discusses William Pearson’s case. The book is not accessible online but can be purchased from the society website. You might find other church correspondence about Pearson on the Borthwick Institute website, where the Diocese of York Cause Papers are free to view at : https://www.dhi.ac.uk/causepapers
You can search for personal names.
Hope this helps.
