My 3 x gt grandparents Joseph and Rebecca Robson moved to the cottages shortly after 1841. He worked as a platelayer.They were in Hexham by 1881 as Joseph had died and his sone, my 2 x gt grandfather Thomas Robson, was no longer working as a platelayer.
