In January 1947 a report on Darras Hall pow Camp 69 had a pow hostel listed in Anick. The only details given were: Hostel leader; Falk (B), and that it was not on the film circuit as it was too small with just 12 pows. I believe that before this date it was administered by a different main camp, but I have not found out which. Do any of your members know where the pow hostel was located in Anick, or any further details?
    Thank you.

It was probably the large house immediately to the north east of the current A69 roundabout at Hexham, originally built as a rectory but subsequently housing a succession of “social” projects. Henry Faulk was Executive Field Officer in charge of re-education at Featherstone Park POW camp near Haltwhistle
