I am researching Jonathan Martin’s early life. He was born at Highside, Hexham in 1782. Could I ask for advice on where to access the registration of his birth or a record of his baptism.
He was apprenticed to a tanner in Hexham.
At the age of 47 he was living in York. He set fire to the quire in York Minster and died in the Bethlem Hospital (asylum) in London in 1838.Thank you
