Looking for descendants of Thomas Scott born 1863 who moved to the Hexham area from the Borders in 1884. His children included Jessie, Archibald, Charles, Tom A and James born in the 1880s and 1890s. Some family members lived in Warden and Acomb, as well as Hexham.

Hi Martin, thank you that’s exactly the family, but I’m looking for their descendants to work out how I’m related to them! So if anyone knows of anyone by the name Scott or Tiffin I would be very grateful, cheers, Trish.

    Hi,
My family on my mother’s side were from Acomb, Warden and Hexham.
My Great Auntie Jean (Georgina) Tiffin’s ashes are buried in Hexham Cemetery as are her sister’s (Mary Ellen Purvis).
My grandad, John Robert Purvis, had a Scott connection (I think on his mother’s side).
    HTH,
    Bill.
