Primitive Methodist Central Church, S end of Beaumont Street

Brief Timeline:

  • 1909: Opened. Architect: Cackett & Burns Dick.
  • 1913: organ installed.
  • 1952: closed for worship when congregation united with Trinity Church; organ moved to Trinity Church. Sold and used for retail premises.
  • 1993: Community Church moved into ground floor.
  • 1995: Community Church took over whole building.
