The clue shows the houses in Church Row to the north of the Abbey between the old cemetery and Market Street. The photo above is looking north across the old cemetery towards the houses.

With help from our Facebook followers, we think this is an image of the rear of a hospital (and possibly the Nurses Changing Rooms) that is now the site of Broomhaugh Close. The site is marked as an Isolation Hospital in the 1920s.

I would say the photo on the right is the nurses quarters and would be about where Acomb Court is now. Yes the first half of Broomhaugh was the isolation hospital
