The clue photo (on the left above or first image) is of No 24 Hallgate in 1986, on the left-hand side when walking down Hallgate towards the Wentworth car park, just before the Old Grammar School. The second photo shows the same building looking up Hallgate in 1996. The building is now occupied by Haslam’s of Hallgate (art gallery).
