The clue (the image on the left) is of a plaque between the upper floor windows of No 9 Market Place, next to the Moot Hall. The clue was extracted from the middle image, which was taken in 1998. The image on the right shows the building in 2020 – a new CCTV camera and the Edinburgh Wool Mill closing down.
